  Florida MOTO News traveled to Waldo, Florida to witness the I4MX vs. FGSC Shootout, held at Waldo Motorsports. The event brought together two of the state's great motocross series for some action-packed racing and a weekend full of fun! Racers and their families enjoyed plenty of entertainment after Saturday's practice. There was a live band, games, and 3 large waterslides! Food vendors were available all weekend as well. Other vendors and some series sponsors were also available throughout the event. Florida sunshine was plentiful too, and all in attendance had to take care over the weekend to stay hydrated in the hot Florida sun. The great weather, food, entertainment, and teamwork between both series staff and track staff, made for an awesome motocross weekend!

 

The racing on Sunday was certainly entertaining. Riders from each series had new competition to battle, while trying to also stay ahead of their usual competitors. This was especially true for the FGSC racers, as the Waldo event was their series finale. For many FGSC racers, the battle for the Championship had come down to this last race.
