The 2014 FL/GA Fall Championship series returned home to Bostwick Creek Mx Park, where FGSC racers had some tough motos to complete in the battle for the championship. Points were close, and racers went to the gate looking to put in some great motos and leave with the points lead. The gate would drop first on the Bostwick Mx pee-wee track, where the battles in the 50cc classes continued. Calen Myers (KTM #73) put in some great rides and took the win in both the 50cc Beginner and 50cc 4-6 classes. The day's wins give Myers a comfortable points lead in both classes as he heads to the final round of the series. The close 50cc points battle is now in the 50cc 4-6 class, where Tyson Longbottom and Jason Vlossak must battle it out. The two will head to the final round of the series separated by only two points as they battle for the second place overall series finish.
The Jr Mini 9-13 class offered up some good racing action, where Rowdy Houston (KAW #155) and Roberto Burgos (KAW #95) competed for the win. The win went to Houston in the first moto, but the overall win belonged to Burgos after his second moto victory. The great racing wasn't limited to the smaller bikes though. Cody Crown (KAW #35) rode well and was the winner in the MX B class. In the MX A class, Jake Raikes (HON #44) took the win ahead of Jason Frank (SUZ #353).
The 2014 FL/GA Fall Championship series will conclude at Dade City Motocross on December 7th. For full race/series results from the 2014 FL/GA Fall Championship, and more information about the FGSC series, visit flgaracing.com!
