Florida MOTO News was out at Mesa Motocross in Fellsmere, Florida to get the latest news about the newly re-done Mesa track. The track is now owned and operated by the Borrego family. The Borregos jointly own Mesa along with Miami MX Park, and the family is clearly dedicated to the sport of motocross. It is their mission at both facilities to provide a safe environment that will both challenge and satisfy a range of skill levels. Track owner Lazaro Borrego has been hard at work to ensure that both Miami MX and Mesa Motocross are a great experience for Florida's motocross riders. It is Lazaro and his family's hope, that the tracks will continue to grow and touch many lives for years to come.
The grand re-opening of Mesa Motocross track was also host to the awards ceremony for the 2014 Miami MX Series. Riders in attendance for the January 24th celebrations were treated to a FREE ride day. Food was available for purchase as well, including BBQ, Mexican, Cuban, and even hamburgers and hot dogs! Riders received their awards, and many also won additional prizes from a drawing held throughout the ceremony. The celebrations even included a drawing for a brand new dirt bike! Mesa Motocross is looking good, and certainly offers riders a great place to enjoy motocross. Now that Mesa Motocross has re-opened, the track's regular schedule will be: Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday: 2pm to dark. Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 4pm (gates open at 9am). No bike? No problem!
