Excitement was in the air at the 2016 FL/GA Spring Championship & Florida Series Combined Race at Bostwick Creek Mx Park! The Florida weather had cooperated, and racers would get to race the Bostwick track with no mud! Social media had been a-buzz, with riders and tracks from across the state expressing their concern about the potential for overnight rain on Saturday. Much to the delight of many motocrossers, the rain stayed away from Bostwick Creek Motocross Park!
Series promoters and riders were happy to report big gates, full of fast competition, at the Bostwick race. The competition was fierce all day. Riders had their work cut out for them, battling all the tough competion on the always challenging Bostwick race course. For many, this first round would be the beginning of the championship points battle in TWO race series! The collaberation of two of the states largest motocross series, had given racers the opportunity to earn points towards the championship in BOTH series for the price of ONE! This had certainly been a great motivator for racers to get out to Bostwick and sign up to race. The combination of race series is sure to bring a ton of new excitement to the racing scene in 2016, and Florida MOTO News will be there to bring you the latest news, photos, video, and more from these great events!
