The fourth round of the FL/GA Spring Championship & Florida Series combined series racing saw its fourth round of 2017 at Pax Trax Mx Park in Bunnell, Florida. Nearly 300 entries would make for yet another action packed day of racing. The first motos were full of some great battles, and made for quite a show as some racers, racing with skilled aggression, would even jump side by side over the big Pax Trax jumps.
Most of the first motos were completed before the skies over head began to look a bit angry. It wasn't long before everything was wet. Very wet. The afternoon downpour left quite a mess, and Pax Trax track groomer, Kyle Farnell, worked overtime to get the track back in shape for the rest of the day's racing. The muddy conditions, however, certainly made for a challenging race.
Most riders did their best to navigate the now slick track, but some had more than enough of the mud at the tail end of the first motos, and decided to call it a day. There's nothing like a good mud race to get some really entertaining racing going. At one point during a 65cc race, FLMN counted FIVE bikes down at one time all over the track! The little riders were undeterred, and after some work, managed to get going again to finish the race. The big bikes didn't disappoint, and provided spectators with a good show as well. The mud-roosting, slip-and-slide racing was both intense and entertaining. At the end of racing, FLMN saw many smiling, happy, and very dirty faces.
